Viniyoga New England
Yoga Teacher Training
Foundations in Yoga Therapy
This is among the most sophisticated and advanced teacher trainings available at the initial level of yoga teacher certification.
Your teachers, Carol Klammer and Karen Lee have a combined forty-plus years of intimate experience with these practices. They have worked with people in all levels and conditions, and of every age. They have studied with the best teachers of our time, and they are educators themselves beyond and before their yoga trainings, so your experience will be unsurpassed.
The curriculum will extend deeply into yoga's roots, and widely into the systems of healing beyond asana. You will graduate this program with a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience with therapeutic yoga that will promote greater health and well being at all levels in yourself and as you teach your students.
Viniyoga New England’s Yoga Teacher Training is appropriate for serious yoga students who wish to deepen their personal practice, and for yoga teachers who wish to acquire foundational skills in yoga therapy.
When you use the link in the box to the right to email Carol, you will receive the full details of the training, through email and a phone call to personally address your questions and interests.
Thanks for your interest in this profound work.

Who are the teachers?
Karen Lee, MAT, E-RYT 500, Yoga Therapist
I
am a yogini: that means yoga is the way I live. Yoga has been a path to
wholeness for me, a transformation. My life path has had a bit of the
nitty-gritty: whose hasn't? It is my passion to pass along the gifts of
yoga so that others too can heal and grow.
I have a Master of Arts in Teaching from Rhode Island School of Design, and I am an American Viniyoga Institute (AVI) teacher at the 500-hour level, and an AVI Certified Yoga Therapist, registered with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, where you may view a full profile of her experience, training, philosophy and publications. I am an E-RYT 500 with the Yoga Alliance

Twenty
years ago, after completing graduate studies in education and moving to
New England, I stumbled upon many obstacles, many of them within
myself. I fiercely needed reliable guidance toward the changes I wanted
to make. I found this guidance in the compassionate heart within. Yoga
taught me how to clear out obstacles to experiencing this inner wisdom
we all may access.
I have taught yoga since 1996, the year I
completed a 200-hour yoga-teaching certificate at Kripalu in Lenox, MA.
I continued at Kripalu to complete the 500-hour credential. In 2004 I finished the American Viniyoga Institute (AVI) teacher training at the 500-hour level. I am an E-RYT 500 with the Yoga Alliance
I
teach in various locations in and around Norwich CT, through All Hearts
Hatha Yoga, the name I chose for my teaching practice since 2002.
