Become a Breathing Time Yoga Teacher
Requirements: Be a 200-hour or more yoga teacher from a recognized teacher-training program. Our classes are student centered, meaning the classes taught consider the needs, interests and abilities of the students. You must be able to teach students what they need to know, to help them start where they are and move in a positive direction.
Our teachers have their own personal practices, but they do not lead students through that practice. They teach the students practices that are personalized to them. The teachers at
Breathing Time Yoga teach students how enhance their health,
experience vitality and transform their lives using the tools of yoga and
other modalities.
If you are a student-centered yoga teacher interested in offering classes or workshops at Breathing Time Yoga please send your resume with a cover letter. If you have a desire to teach in a student centered way, but need some help making the transition from leading others through your personal practice, we offer mentoring to help you develop those skills. Mentored teachers can become part of the Breathing Time Yoga staff given successful skill development. Please contact us if you are interested in mentoring.
You may be interested in therapeutic application of yoga, in which case we’d like to recommend that you train here. Unless, of course, you have already earned a diploma from a recognized yoga therapy training program.
