…Therapeutic: Personal Yoga address your unique physical and health concerns. “Karen interwove some therapeutic aspects into my practice to make my knees stronger. I can already feel the difference.” —Joy
…Athletic: Personal Yoga adapts as you advance, constantly challenging your body and invigorating your spirit. “My sessions with Karen help me stay on track with my fitness goals, both by providing a great workout and encouraging healthy habits.” —Kim
…Restorative: Your personal stress-reducing practice will protect against burn-out and offer a daily refuge. “I have a lot of professional responsibility. Time is always an issue.” —Ritvars
…Spiritual: If desired, Personal Yoga can integrate personally meaningful ritual and spiritual elements. “Many of us have become disconnected from our religious heritage – that doesn’t mean we have to give up on our spirituality.” —Karen Lee
How Does Personal Yoga Work?
Inspiring Transformation “If it doesn’t take you from point A to point B, why do it?” —Karen Lee
The full transformative potential of yoga cannot be experienced in a group class or with a DVD.
Personal Yoga differs because…
- The practice meets your unique needs, personality, and goals.
- You will establish a regular personalized home yoga practice with appropriate materials to guide you.
- It offers the structure, guidance, and attention you need to get you going with your transformation.
- Each session builds upon the last, and upon your home practice, creating a dynamic personal blueprint for wellbeing.
Achievable Steps with a Personal Guide “Start with a step that’s achievable.”—Karen Lee
Karen will guide you through the process starting with your first meeting, where she learns your goals, personality type, learning style and emotional state. Infusing this information back into your practice, she creates a unique yoga experience designed especially for you.
In your regular sessions she balances instruction with demonstration, guiding you in your practice. Through observation and dialogue she teaches the practice, postures and techniques most useful for your condition, needs and interests.
