The Heart of Yoga:
Integrated Viniyoga Practices

With Yoga Therapist Karen Lee
Sundays 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
The heart of yoga is a path to personal transformation that starts right where you are. Through practice, and surrender we begin to discriminate between what we are and what we are not, coming closer to rest at home in our hearts.
Each week we will start with some Yoga Sutra study, learning the ancient "way of seeing" that is yoga. Then we will delve into full practices that meet us on all levels: your body, your vital energy, your mind, your character, and ultimately your higher Self. The practices will give you an experiential understanding of the sutra. Classes will include asana (postures), pranayama (regulated breathing), and meditation. Other yoga tools we will use include chanting, ritual, and yoga nidra.
