Iyengar Yoga for Beginners
with Christy Chase
Mondays 5:30 - 6:45 p.m.

Are you relatively new to yoga? Have you made a start at yoga but found that you weren't feeling confident in your practice? Take the stress out of your yoga experience. This weekly class will build on your foundation for a strong and confident yoga practice. This class welcomes all students who are relatively new to yoga practice, or have never take a class taught in the Iyengar method.
The Iyengar method of teaching has an emphasis on the precise alignment of yoga postures, known as asanas. The teacher uses clear language, demonstration of actions, and props to help the student develop an intelligent understanding of the body, mind, and breath. The teacher's focus on the alignment of your body will help you feel confident you've got it right.

Continuing Yoga - Level 2 is designed for students who have been practicing yoga for a year or more and are ready to build their skillfulness, deepen their self-knowledge, and broaden their comprehension of yoga.
