LIFEFORCE YOGA to Manage Your Mood
with Karen Lee LifeForce
Yoga is a practice of spacious compassion. Learning to accept ourselves
with kindness as we are, gives us the ground on which to take steps
forward. The practice is adapted to the student, so each one will learn
the tools that lead to a more balanced and positive emotional, mental,
and physical state of equanimity and self-awareness.
Learn
to manage your mood through a series of effective breathing practices,
simple yoga postures, and guided meditation techniques. Refresh and
renew, taking home practical skills to maintain a sense of soothing
calm and radiant well being
Eighty
percent of people experiencing depression also experience some form of
anxiety. LifeForce Yoga offers specific practices to balance both
spectrums, giving students practical take-home tools to address the
range of moods.

About K aren Lee Karen
found the power of yoga to lift depression and calm anxiety in 1995
when recovering from a disabling depression. She has utilized yoga to
manage her mood ever since. Her experience makes her a compassionate
guide, leading you to find your own power to find health. The
power of yoga was so inspiring to her that she pursued a five year
program with the American Viniyoga Institute, graduating from their
Yoga Therapist program in 2004. She has also studied with Amy
Weintraub, author of LifeForce Yoga to Beat the Blues, Bessel
VanderKolk author of Traumatic Stress: The Effects of Overwhelming
Experience on Mind, Body, and Society and Richard Miller, developer of
